It's been a week since I got back from Tokyo, and I'm still disappointed by the Kingdom Hearts Ichiban Kuji. It was supposed to start the 31st of May, the day I was flying home. But I checked like a dozen participating 7/11 stores before I went to the airport, and none of them had started it yet. Sigh...

As a silver lining, I did find a 7/11 that had those chocolate wafers out early, so I grabbed a few.

Came with that Missing Link pre-registration and everything. Wonder what's going on with that... And while I'm showing stuff off, here's the other KH merch I bought in my limited time!

I literally just got the arnolfini portrait painting on my feed and I was all "waaait a minute... I've heard that somewhere before" and then I remembered your fic and that's just so cool!!! Aaaa!! No way!! So cool!

i first saw in my 7th grade history class and it has stuck me with ever since then! my teacher showed us all the intricate details and i was hooked evermore.

this is the portrait for anyone interested!

one thing i really love about this portrait is the wife!! every single detail about her … AAA I LOVE 🖤! her eyes are so somberly downcast and her hand is limp (a sign of decorum during those times but it cannot help but radiate sadness) — those are emotions i want to inject into MC as i reveal more and more about her and floyd.

additionally! taking off shoes in the house represents the floor recently being moped by God yet she’s sprouting a hairdo that includes devilish horns!!!

i would continue on analyzing and picking apart the portrait, but i’m afraid the more i give away, the more i’ll reveal about the story (⊃‿⊂) hehe

legit while answering this ask, i wrote down a big spoiler; had to go back and delete that ɷ◡ɷ . i also have five/six drafts on this account solely revealing the little worldbuilding i did for the queendom of roses and coral sea. i want to post them so bad but i’m telling myself to be patient.

i will say this is 1 out of 3 works where i will have it be the leech family is mafia. arnolfini is an ITALIAN surname,, i could not skimp on the chance to refer to floyd’s and jade’s father as Don Leech!

for valentines day all outfits are simply a small recolor/redesign of the units original outfits, but switch in my totally unbiased opinion has definitely had the most fun and creative one bc!! it has such a cute and fun theme!! like heres primavera and swee2wink for example
